The Whole Shebang
'The
Whole Shebang' was the second album recording under German label, PILA
records. Having worked with the band on several occasions and had the guys play session for him on tour, Buddy Miller knew exactly how an Electrics album should sound and put together on record as close as could be created, the live energy normally experienced at the Electrics gigs. Recording
the album in Nashville also gave great opportunity to have some of Buddys'
mates from the Nashville Country music scene play session on the record
to give it that extra special edge. Probably the most famous track recorded by The Electrics is on this album, and is entitled 'T -Hula Beannachd', but is often reffered to as The Blessing. This song has been used by many couples for weddings, anniversaries etc but has also been used at some unexpected ceremonies, such as the opening of the Australian Parliament. |
