'Visions and Dreams' was the Electrics debut CD release album, and was recorded in 1991 under the production eyes of Tony Cummings, a music journalist and critic from the south of England. Not content to use one Glasgow studio for the production of the record, Tony had the band travel south the Walsall where his 'visions' were made clear .... when a Black Gospel choir were brought in to lend their voices to some tracks.

Deleted from stock in 1996, the album has been unavailable for a number of years, but was re-released in 2003 for those people who missed it first time around.

Probably the most famous track recorded by The Electrics is on this album, and is entitled 'T -Hula Beannachd', but is often reffered to as The Blessing. This song has been used by many couples for weddings, anniversaries etc but has also been used at some unexpected ceremonies, such as the opening of the Australian Parliament.
